Welcome to Arlington. Seen as you come into town from the west. The Circle K is on what used to be the corner of B Street & Columbia Street. although much lower.
Looking east at the Arlington hillside. The Columbia River Highway climbs this hill along the top level of the dwellings.

This photo taken from the park is looking down old Main Street from old B Street. The Arlington Hotel would be to the left, and in 1922 a harness shop  would be on the right. The City Hall and Jail before 1923 would be to the left on the beach not visible in this photo.
Looking down Main Street from B Street. In 1922 a drug store would be on the right and the movie theatre was on the left. B Street was at the south side of Beech Street.
Looking southeast from the beach which was A Street. The Jordan Hotel was in the center of the photo with half the building in the parking lot and the other half on the grass, The original town  level was probably a few feet lower than the level of the grass.
Looking northeast from A Street now the beach. In the center of the photo about where the freeway is today was the Gilmore Hotel also known as Bennett's Hotel and the Depot Hotel.
Standing on B Street in front of the stable which was to the left. Behind the photo where the vacant restaurant is was Joe Keeney's Stage Office and Stable.
You can see how high the ground was built up. The school was to the left of the caboose and at the right of the photo (Not visible) was the city hall and jail until 1922.
You can see the onramp to the freeway which was built in the 1950's and above that is the Old Columbia River Highway.
Main Street was to the left of the pizza place and Joe Keeney's stage office and stable was where the vacant restaurant is. In 1922 it was a machine shop. In 1888 between the pizza place and  the sheds was a drug and stationary store, In 1922 it was a cobbler shop.

Standing on B Street about half way between Columbia and Main Streets. The Arlington National Bank would roughly be in the middle of the street to the left of the pizaa place.
